Junior Maintenance Engineer

Entry-Level Korean Bilingual Maintenance Engineer (OPT Eligible)

Company Overview

Our client is a Tier-1 supplier to Hyundai and Kia Motors, operating advanced automated manufacturing systems. As production capacity continues to expand, we are seeking motivated entry-level engineers with a background in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering to support equipment maintenance and ensure reliable operation of automated production lines.

 

Position Overview

Position Title: Junior Maintenance Engineer / Equipment Engineer

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Dublin, Georgia

Work Authorization: OPT Eligible (F-1 Students Welcome)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on automated production equipment.
  • Monitor the operational status of conveyors, lifters, RGVs (Rail Guided Vehicles), and other automated material handling systems.
  • Assist with basic PLC and HMI troubleshooting, alarm response, and system monitoring.
  • Support senior engineers in diagnosing equipment issues and performing corrective maintenance.
  • Inspect, replace, and maintain electrical components, sensors, motors, and related equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and production efficiency.
  • Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and participate in safety improvement activities.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree (or expected graduation) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Authorized to work in the United States (OPT candidates are welcome to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of PLC systems and industrial automation concepts.
  • Understanding of electrical circuits, sensors, motors, relays, and industrial electrical systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both Korean and English.
  • Strong willingness to learn, develop technical skills, and grow within a manufacturing environment.
  • Korean Bilingual must

Preferred

  • Coursework or project experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or LS PLC systems.
  • Experience with Capstone Projects, Senior Design Projects, Robotics Projects, or Automation Projects.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks, or related engineering software.
  • Internship, Co-op, laboratory research, or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and clamp meters.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 annually (based on qualifications and experience)
  • Future E-2 Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified employees, with all visa-related costs covered by the company.
  • Future employment-based Green Card sponsorship may be considered for long-term employees based on performance and business needs.
