Carevio Health is seeking a highly motivated Direct Care Worker to join our team. As a Direct Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing Community Living Supports and Respite Care to families and individuals with disabilities in Wayne County.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support that is respectful, compassionate, and tailored to individual needs.
- Assist with improving activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, maintaining living spaces, meal preparation, etc.
- Assist with fostering independence and confidence in the home and community by engaging in meaningful activities and learning opportunities.
- Accurately record client data and progress, while maintaining compliant records and documentation.
- Stay up to date on required training and credentials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Case Manager.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid Drivers License and access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment TB test
- Must have or be willing to obtain CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
Shift availability
- Day Shift (Preferred)
- Afternoon Shift (Preferred)
- Weekends as needed (Preferred)

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Below is a list of documents we'll need from you, if you have any of these already please feel free to send them over or bring in to your interview so we can get a copy. Additionally, we'll need your online training transcripts from Detroit Wayne Connect (DWC) for Direct Care Workers in Wayne County. If you have already completed them with another provider, transcripts can be downloaded and sent over to caryn@careviohealth.com
1. A valid driver's license/state ID and Social Security Card. Please provide a clear picture or scan of the front and back of each item. This will be used for employment verification.
2. CPR Certification - Adult / Pediatrics /
First-Aid, Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This certification is valid for 2 years and can be completed online for $14.95* at https://nationalcprfoundation.com/.*We will reimburse you for your first CPR Certification if you are not already certified.
3. A negative Tuberculosis test. This can be performed at your PCP's office, or we are partnered with Express Med Urgent Care in Southfield, and you will have no out of pocket cost.

4. Highschool Diploma, or highest level of education completed.
