Lead Full Stack Engineer– React/Node.js

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer to join a leading enterprise organisation focused on modernising and scaling its customer onboarding platform. This role combines technical leadership, hands-on development, and expertise in authentication and authorisation systems to deliver secure, high-performing digital experiences.

As a Lead Engineer, you will drive architectural decisions, mentor development teams, and serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for identity and access management solutions across web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale customer onboarding applications.

Architect and implement secure authentication and authorisation solutions.

Drive technical strategy and influence architectural decisions focused on scalability, reliability, and performance.

Serve as a hands-on technical leader by contributing code, reviewing solutions, and mentoring engineers.

Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with organisational goals.

Optimise application performance and enhance user onboarding experiences.

Implement and maintain identity and access management (IAM) frameworks and integrations.

Establish development best practices, coding standards, and technical governance.

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in enterprise-level environments.

Proven experience serving as a Lead Developer, Principal Engineer, or Technical Lead.

Strong expertise in:

React.js

Node.js

TypeScript

AWS Cloud Services

Deep knowledge of Authentication and Authorization technologies and best practices.

Experience with Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platforms such as:

SAP Gigya / SAP Customer Data Cloud (SAP CDC)

Okta

Auth0

Ping Identity

OAuth and related authentication frameworks

Experience building and supporting large-scale web applications.

Strong collaboration skills with product, engineering, and leadership teams.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.

Passion for technology, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP Gigya or SAP Customer Data Cloud (SAP CDC).

React Native experience.

Experience developing solutions that support both web and mobile platforms.
