Business Operations Analyst

B&M Cyber (B&M) is seeking a detail-oriented Business Operations Analyst to support day-to-day corporate functions in business operations and project management of a growing Federal cybersecurity consulting firm. 

 

The successful candidate will support corporate administration, human resources, financial and contract operations, project coordination, and business development. The ideal candidate is highly organized, writes and communicates effectively, follows through on assignments, and a self-starter who can independently manage recurring deadlines and multiple workstreams.

 

Responsibilities

  • Corporate Administration: Manage corporate action items, shared mailboxes, calendars, trackers, and recurring deadlines; follow up on approaching or overdue items; and maintain accurate files, distribution lists, templates, process guides, and records in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Federal Contracting and Project Administration: Maintain contract and project documentation; track deliverables and reporting requirements; coordinate client meetings and employee project onboarding; and support required Federal contractor registrations, certifications, and reports.
  • Federal Proposal Management and Business Development: Maintain client relationships through proactive communication; monitor opportunities for new procurements; coordinate proposal meetings; update capability statements; and support proposal development.
  • Human Resources and Recruiting: Coordinate recruiting, employee onboarding and offboarding, performance reviews, employment verifications, benefits administration, training, and personnel documentation.
  • Financial Administration: Support timesheet follow-up, payroll documentation, expense reporting, contractor burn-rate calculations, invoicing, billing, and related financial records.
  • Business Communications and Events: Prepare, edit, proofread, and format reports, presentations, correspondence, procedures, and other business materials; and provide occasional support for website updates and corporate events.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent business writing, proofreading, formatting, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • High degree of accuracy, organization, discretion, initiative, and follow-through.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, independently research questions, troubleshoot issues, and recommend practical solutions.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a Federal contractor, professional-services firm, or consulting organization.
  • Experience with Unanet, payroll, or HR systems, Federal reporting, recruiting, contract financial tracking, or proposal development.
