Title: Finance & Capital Raise Intern

Location: Fully Remote

Commitment: Part Time, 10 to 20 hours per week

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship position. As Press Play continues to grow, outstanding candidates may have the opportunity to transition into a paid role and potentially a full time position.

Position Overview

Press Play is entering a critical phase as we prepare for a capital raise. We are seeking a finance focused intern to support investor materials, financial modeling, and capital raise strategy. This role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in finance, investment analysis, or capital markets who want hands on experience inside an innovative music technology startup.

The Finance and Capital Raise Intern will work closely with executive leadership and legal advisors to prepare financial materials, support investor outreach efforts, and assist with due diligence processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing investor presentations and financial summaries.

• Support financial modeling and forecasting.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis.

• Help organize due diligence materials for prospective investors.

• Assist with capitalization table updates and financial documentation.

• Collaborate with legal and executive leadership on capital raise strategy.

Ideal Candidate

• Background in finance, accounting, economics, investment analysis, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

• Experience with financial modeling using Excel or similar tools.

• Interest in startups, music technology, or the creator economy.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial concepts clearly.
