WordPress Web Support (Part-Time/15 hours per week)

Description of Job 

The Social Being LLC seeks an hybrid part-time person in either Austin or San Antonio, Texas who will be under the direction of the Project Manager and Web Developer. This position will have proven experience using WordPress CMS. It also requires a strong sense of Google’s web design standards. The ideal candidate should understand the basics of UX user experience and the customer journey. Knowledgeable of KPIs in digital marketing to drive bottom-line business results to ensure maximum ROI for our clients.

 

Duties

Web Support

  • Responding to client web support tickets and confirming the completion of tickets
  • Converting raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into web-based formats
  • Update web support websites (WP Core, Themes, Plugins)
  • Check for 404s
  • Ensure the backup is working properly
  • Familiar with Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Recaptcha, and Search Console

 

Account Services

  • Generate monthly reporting using Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Search Console and identify and analyze issues, patterns, and trends from web analytics
  • Interpersonal communications skills - Work closely with the owners to understand business goals
  • Assist with various other duties assigned

 

Qualifications 

  • Ability to think critically and problem-solver
  • Ideal candidate will be independent, driven, and a self-starter
  • Ability to multitask in a highly energetic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and maintain a high quality of work under strict deadlines
  • Any experience using WordPress CMS
  • Preferred experience using Divi and Elementor Themes and Builders
  • Ability to learn front-end code: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP
  • Experience with Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign
  • Knowledge of the concept of SEO

Salary

Starting Pay is $17 per hour

  • Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • Direct Deposit

 

A 90-day probation period will be in effect. This position is currently hybrid. Required to work in our office on certain days.
