Test Center Administrator

Test Center Administrator (Part‑Time)

Location:

Onsite – Local Test Center
(Address shared during the interview process)

Schedule & Availability

This is a part‑time role (around 20 hours per week) with a flexible schedule, ideal for students.

  • Test center hours typically fall Monday–Saturday between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
  • Saturday availability is required
  • Occasional evening shifts may be needed
  • Possible Sunday hours, depending on testing schedules
  • Schedules are shared two weeks in advance
  • Candidates must be open to working different shifts, including early mornings or evenings
  • Additional hours may be available at times

This position will remain part‑time.

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Test Center Administrator to help create a calm, secure, and welcoming environment for individuals taking exams.

You’ll play an important role in ensuring exams are administered fairly and securely while providing a positive experience for each test taker.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcome test takers and guide them through the check‑in process
  • Verify identification and explain testing procedures clearly
  • Enforce exam rules and complete required security checks
  • Monitor the testing room throughout exams to ensure fairness and integrity
  • Respond to questions or issues quickly and professionally
  • Maintain a secure and organized testing environment at all times
  • Document and report any incidents that fall outside standard guidelines
  • Help prepare and organize testing workstations and office materials
  • Complete basic administrative tasks such as scanning and recordkeeping
  • Assist with small operational tasks like packing or unpacking materials
  • Communicate clearly with candidates and teammates throughout your shift

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • College coursework or student status is a plus
  • At least one year of in‑person customer service experience
    (retail, hospitality, food service, call center, etc.)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Comfortable using computers, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web browsers
  • Able to stay focused, organized, and calm in a rule‑based environment
  • Willing to learn and follow detailed procedures

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to move through the testing room regularly
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to monitor computer screens and camera displays during exams
  • Comfortable working in tight spaces while following safety guidelines
