Help Build One of Texas' Fastest Growing Defense Technology Companies

Location: San Marcos, TX
Company: OPCON Defense
Schedule: Part-Time (10–15 hours/week)
Pay: Competitive (Based on Experience)

Are you passionate about social media, photography, videography, and creating engaging content?

OPCON Defense is looking for a creative, motivated Texas State student to help grow our national presence across the Defense, Fire Service, and Law Enforcement industries.

This is not your typical internship. You'll create content from live firefighter training, military demonstrations, trade shows, product launches, and behind-the-scenes operations while working alongside combat veterans, firefighters, and industry professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Create Instagram Reels, Facebook posts, LinkedIn content, and YouTube Shorts
  • Capture photo and video content during demonstrations and training events
  • Design graphics using Canva
  • Assist with email marketing and website updates
  • Help grow the OPCON Defense brand nationwide

Preferred Skills

  • Canva
  • CapCut or Adobe Premiere
  • Photography/Videography
  • Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Creative mindset and willingness to learn

Bonus

  • Drone photography experience
  • Graphic design
  • Military, Fire, or First Responder interest
