Video Editing Intern

Do you love storytelling through editing, pacing, and motion? As our Video Editing Intern, you’ll help edit and refine visual stories that spotlight students, small businesses, and community impact.
Working closely with our creative mentors, you’ll assemble footage, refine transitions, and add the finishing touches that turn raw clips into polished, purpose-driven videos.
About GlowUp ACS — GlowUp ACS is a New Jersey–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to close the “experience paradox”: the catch-22 where entry-level roles require experience that early-career talent hasn’t yet had the chance to build. As an Associate Intern, you’ll contribute to real, meaningful work on live projects. This is an unpaid role, and we follow all applicable U.S. and university guidelines for unpaid internships; documentation to support college credit is available upon request. We value self-starters who communicate openly and thrive in a flexible, collaborative, fully remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Edit videos for campaigns, features, and social storytelling.
- Add graphics, sound design, and captions.
- Collaborate on pacing, tone, and narrative.
- Manage project files and versions efficiently.
What You’ll Need
- Experience with or strong interest in video editing and storytelling.
- Access to editing tools and a reliable setup.
- An organized, detail-oriented, and creative approach.
- Reliable computer/laptop, stable Wi-Fi, and a webcam/microphone.
