Social Media Intern

For You Media is a boutique marketing agency based in Nashville, working with consumer brands in CPG, wellness, lifestyle, and ecommerce. We're hiring an intern to support our Director of Strategic Marketing on day-to-day execution across multiple client accounts. This is hands-on agency work, not a coffee-runs internship. You'll be doing real outreach, managing real conversations, and learning how a growing agency operates from the inside. Strong performers will have the option to grow into a full-time role.

What You'll Do

Assist with influencer and partnership outreach on behalf of clients, including identifying aligned creators, sending and tracking DMs, and managing inbound responses through a dedicated inbox. Represent client brand voices accurately in comments, DMs, and creator conversations. Maintain outreach pipelines and trackers so nothing falls through. Support community engagement across client social accounts (responding to comments and messages, light engagement). Help organize content calendars and assist with scheduling. Pull basic performance data for monthly reporting. Handle small recurring tasks that keep accounts moving day to day.

Logistics

10-20 hours per week. Paid. Remote-friendly, but being in Nashville or Middle TN is a plus since you'd have the chance to help with on-location content shoots.

Minimum Requirements

Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X, including how DMs, Stories, and native scheduling work. Strong written communication and the ability to match a brand's tone without sounding like a template. Organized and detail-oriented enough to juggle several accounts without dropping threads. Reliable and responsive, since outreach runs on follow-up. Comfortable working independently once a task is handed off.

Skills We're Looking For:

Clear, fast writer who can shift voice between brands. Genuinely organized (you already use some system to track your own life). Comfortable with social tools and quick to learn new ones like Metricool or outreach trackers. Self-starter who flags problems instead of sitting on them.

Nice to Have:

Prior internship or role in social media, marketing, or agency work. Familiarity with influencer outreach or creator partnerships. Experience with scheduling tools or light analytics.
