Project Engineer

Kjellstrom + Lee seeks to hire an energetic Project Engineer to join our team to aid in the successful delivery of commercial construction projects out of our Staunton Office. Our PE’s serve a vital role of supporting the project team in accurate and timely delivery of projects, and regularly interface with team members both internally and externally to manage documentation, administrative processes, and quality assurance measures required as part of this delivery.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Maintaining current Construction Documents and associated logs / Total Document Control

Total Submittal Management

Total RFI Management

Documentation of Coordination Meetings with Agendas and Minutes/Records

Total Permit Management

Total Material Delivery Tracking / Management

Project Task Scheduling both informal and using CPM methods

Quality Management documentation & issue resolution

Punchlist documentation & trade coordination

Project Closeout Documentation & Owner Training

LEED / IGCC Compliance & Documentation

Educational + Work Experience

B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering curriculum

Internship or Co-Op with Commercial Construction Company (GC/CM or Trade Subcontractor)
