DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preforms routine financial/compliance monitoring review work on entities receiving funds awarded by the OOG.
  • Work involves examining and reviewing financial documents, policies/procedures, and grants/contracts/agreements, to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal guidance. 

SKILLS REQUIRED: 

  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with individuals inside and outside the agency. 
  • Ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Skill in conducting data searches. 
  • Skill in preparing concise and accurate information/reports. 
  • Skill in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • Experience working with Excel spreadsheets and financial data. 
  • Experience with and interest in collaborating with teams to achieve results.  

Available to start September 2, 2026, for Fall 2026 session.

Intern supervisors will be providing feedback to interns on a consistent basis to ensure the intern has a successful internship.

The internship is a volunteer position and is NOT paid.

The intern will be working up to 25 hours a week in this division.
