Civil Engineer - Entry

McCrone has openings for entry level civil engineers with 3-5 land development design experience to join our team. We are seeking motivated self-starters to work on a variety of projects in the commercial, residential, and institutional sector primarily located in Maryland with some work in the surrounding Mid-Atlantic states.

Responsibilities:

  • All facets of civil site design including site layout, land grading, stormwater management, roadway, utilities, and sediment and erosion control
  • Client and consultant interaction while working on projects.
  • Assisting with permit processing and submittals with local and state agencies.

Education and Skills:

  • Must have an Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD® Civil 3D®, HydroCAD, and Maryland Stormwater Management Design
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or Fundamentals in Engineering (FE) license preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
