Corporate Research Specialist
Powered By Love, Inc. is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to translating "Love in Action" into tangible, high-impact community transformation. We are currently scaling our operations for our upcoming flagship community restoration campaign, The 831 Experience. We are hiring a 5-person research engine to conduct deep-dive corporate background mapping.
Position Purpose
As a Corporate Research & Lead Generation Specialist, you will act as a "Data Excavator." This is a 100% backend, data-intensive role focused entirely on pure information extraction, data modeling, and document organization inside Google Workspace.
Note: This position is strictly focused on research and data entry. You will not be writing or submitting grants, managing public correspondence, or making outward sales pitches or phone calls.
Core Responsibilities
- Dossier Portfolio Generation: Conduct background research and compile 200 distinct corporate profile sheets cleanly mapped across our strategic campaign pillars.
- Decision-Maker Identification: Track down, verify, and document the direct corporate contact lines, executive titles, and email networks of regional CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) directors, foundation heads, and business owners.
- Strategic Alignment Mapping: Identify and document 7–10 specific funding opportunities, localized giving histories, and corporate matching potentials for each assigned business profile.
- Shared Repository Custody: Build, format, and maintain high-fidelity source records inside our centralized Google Drive ecosystem to facilitate immediate internal team hand-offs.
Project Timeline & Milestone-Based Compensation
This position is structured as a fixed project contract with a Total Stipend of $1,250.00, paid out in monthly installments directly tied to data file completions:
- June 22 – June 30 (Onboarding & Calibration): Participate in active training, get onboarded onto the master Google Drive, run search parameter test models, and complete a single 60-minute template calibration session. We will provide the templates you'll use to search for funding opportunities.
- July 1 – July 31 (Phase 1 & 2 High-Volume Runs): Deep-dive research targeting enterprise networks (Banks, Utilities, Health Networks) and mid-tier regional corporations. (Milestone Payout: July 31st)
- August 1 – August 15 (Phase 3 Rapid Local Sweep): High-agility data collection targeting boutique retail, independent hospitality groups, and local businesses. (Milestone Payout: August 31st)
Qualifications & Core Competencies
- Currently enrolled student (Business, Political Science, Pre-Law, Data Analytics, Economics, or related fields preferred).
- High proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive architecture).
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical tracking habits, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, maintain focus during repetitive data collection, and meet strict quantitative data-delivery deadlines.
- Strong understanding of corporate structures and professional research methodologies (LinkedIn research, corporate directory mapping, etc.).
