We're seeking a motivated intern to join us. We're building educational materials for newcomer and multilingual learners, and you'll play a key role in the course development process. Your work will focus on building out teacher slides and student-facing materials for students new to the country. This is a part-time, paid internship with an ASAP start date.
What You'll Do
- Content Development: You'll be utilizing existing excel documents and creating teacher and student-facing materials using google slide templates.
- Project Management: You'll use Asana to help manage project tasks, ensuring that we can stay on track with building out lesson materials.
- AI Project Feedback: You will provide feedback on AI tools that will be used by teachers in classrooms across the country. .
- Multicultural Editing: You will be reviewing and editing existing plans to make content more relevant and interesting to students from around the world.
Who We're Looking For
- You're a student or recent graduate passionate about education, especially for newcomer and multilingual learners.
- You have an intuitive understanding of where and when students learning English tend to get stuck. This might include common grammatical errors, vocabulary challenges, or cultural nuances.
- You're a detail-oriented individual with a strong grasp English grammar
- You're tech-savvy and comfortable with or ready to learn about new technologies, including google slides, google sheets, and AI tools like notebookLM.
- You're a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks.
- You're a team player who is excited to contribute.
Compensation
$20 per hour, 10-30 hours per week
