The Office for Student Involvement (OSI) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic student to be a Campus Experience Ambassador — a flexible, paid opportunity designed to help enhance student engagement across campus.
The Ambassador plays an active role in helping OSI to plan and implement welcoming, engaging, and meaningful experiences for Oakland University students.
This role is ideal for students who want to get involved, build leadership and communication skills, and gain real experience with event planning.
What Campus Experience Ambassadors Do
Ambassadors support a wide range of campus engagement efforts such as:
- Event setup, breakdown, and on-site support
- Tabling and outreach for OSI at campus activities
- Supporting student organization events and programming
- Assisting with campus-wide events (e.g., Make a Difference Day)
- Fundraising and awareness initiatives
- Volunteering at special programs and signature events
- Greeting and engaging students at events
- Helping create a welcoming and inclusive campus experience
- Representing OSI and partner offices at campus activities

No prior experience is required. Training will be provided.
