Part-Time 10th Grade Chemistry Instructor

Summary: The Chemistry Instructor will teach a mixed classroom of approximately10 10th Grade high schoolstudents. This course will be scheduled as 4 one-hour periods per week, from Tuesday to Friday. The teacher is responsible for Chemistry instruction, for creating lesson plans and assignments based on the provided curriculum,and for posting grades and assignments to SchoolCues, the school’s student information system. Previous Mathematics teaching experience is preferred, especially within the Classical Christian model.

Position type: Part-time. Instruction schedule is Tuesday-Friday, one period per day. Some teacher training and professional development days are also required.

Start date: Classes begin September 8, 2026.

Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field; agreement with and support of the school's Statement of Faith; strong commitment to Christian education and the Classical Model of education.

Additional desirable qualifications: Teaching experience at a Classical school, teaching certification, and/or advanced degree
