Part-Time 11th/12th Grade Economics Instructor (Spring Semester)
Summary: The 11th/12th Grade Economics Instructor will teach a mixed classroom of approximately 20 high school students. This course will be scheduled as two class periods – either Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday, from 9:00-9:55am. The teacher is responsible for Economicst instruction, for creating lesson plans and assignments based on the provided curriculum,and for posting grades and assignments to SchoolCues, the school’s student information system. Previous History, Civics, or Economics teaching experience is preferred, especially within the Classical Christian model.
Position type: Part-time. Instruction period is 9:00-9:55am W/F or T/R, depending on teacher availability. Some teacher training and professional development days are also required. 2027 Spring Semester.
Start date: Classes begin January 12, 2027.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field; agreement with and support of the school's Statement of Faith; strong commitment to Christian education and the Classical Model of education.
Additional desirable qualifications: Teaching experience at a Classical school, teaching certification, and/or advanced degree
