Mater Biscayne Elementary is seeking a caring, energetic, and student-centered 2nd Grade Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who creates engaging learning experiences, builds strong relationships with students and families, and helps children develop confidence as readers, writers, and problem-solvers.
What You’ll Do
• Deliver engaging lessons aligned to Florida standards.
• Foster a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor student growth and provide support to help all learners succeed.
• Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with colleagues.
• Encourage students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Florida Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for working with elementary-aged students.
