1st Grade Teacher -Mater Biscayne
Mater Biscayne Elementary is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and student-centered 1st Grade Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who fosters a love of learning, builds strong relationships with students and families, and creates a classroom environment where young learners can thrive.
What You’ll Do
• Deliver engaging lessons aligned to Florida standards.
• Create a positive, nurturing, and structured classroom environment.
• Support students as they develop foundational reading, writing, and math skills.
• Monitor student progress and provide support to help all learners succeed.
• Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with colleagues.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Florida Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for working with young learners and helping them grow academically and socially.
