Manufacturing Support II

JOB TITLE:  Manufacturing Support II                       

DEPARTMENT: Production 

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Production Supervisor

JOB CLASSIFICATION (FULL TIME OR PART TIME): Full time

FLSA STATUS (EXEMPT OR NON-EXEMPT):  Non-Exempt 

Summary/Objective

The primary function of this position is to support the various assembly processes involved in the manufacturing of OSI products and may include the assembly of parts at PCB and/or final assembly level and the setup and maintenance of PCB equipment (i.e. drag solder machines, trim saw and de-panelizing cutter)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Operation of equipment, drills, winding machines
  • Assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and products
  • Assist in staging of materials and kits for productions
  • Develop skills and expertise in specific operation or processes in manufacturing
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or Equivalent (GED) 
  • Some electronics knowledge preferred 

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time position. Occasional overtime may be needed.

 

Travel

  • Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and other office equipment. This role may occasionally use hand tools or power tools.  The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
