Role (contractor): Build real production features in our voice AI platform, working directly with the founders and some of the best AI engineers in the valley, not buried in a big team. You'll work with production code from week one and learn everything by doing. You will learn more in the first month than in your entire last year.
What you'll do
- Build and improve voice AI agents that handle real patient calls
- Build API integrations and validation tools for healthcare systems
- Develop features using Python & Typescript
- Use AI-assisted development tools daily (Cursor, Claude Code) as core workflow
- Ship production code in a fast iteration environment
What we're looking for
- Extreme curiosity and a fast learner
- Strong foundation in Python and Typescript
- Experience in building with LLM to solve real problems
- Self-starter mentality: you figure things out, you don't wait to be told what to do
- Comfortable asking questions; working with ambiguity and moving fast
- Able to adapt and learn from mistakes
- Nice to have: prior experience in technical roles
Schedule & compensation
- 30–45+ hours/week, flexible around classes or your schedule
- Must reside in the USA and be authorized to work.
- $25/hour
- Remote OK
What success looks like
- Production code in our platform within your first week
- You'll learn healthcare systems, voice AI architecture, and startup engineering practices
- You'll have real patients depending on the code you wrote
- Previous interns have transitioned into full-time operations, data, and AI engineering roles
