What will you do?
In this internship role, you will be exposed to a variety of HR-related functions as a “generalist” Intern:
- Assist in a variety of HR related functions including:
- HR data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Employee relations activities
- Systems/Database records entry and retention)
- Handbook revisions and review
- HR, Payroll and Recruiting workflow process documentation and mapping.
- Payroll data review and reporting
- Recruiting strategy implementation and direct candidate involvement

What are the working details?
- This internship is targeted to last 3 months during the 2026, ending early September 2026
- To ensure effective collaboration, communication, training, team interaction, continued project alignment, and optimal Intern learning experience, this role will be performed on-site at Comet location in San Jose, CA.
- Working hours are within normal business hours and are estimated to be between 25-40 hours per week, between 8.30am and 5.00pm.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking Internship candidates who:
- Are in 2nd or 3rd year in a Human Resources or Business degree program.
- Have a good foundational understanding of HR concepts and practices.
- Have strong computer skills to effectively use HR, Payroll, and Recruiting-specific software and databases (no prior specific database experience required).
- Preference given for prior experience with HR systems/tools.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point highly preferred.
- ADP, SAP or other HCM or Payroll tools experience nice-to-have but are not required.
Job Type: Internship, 25-40 hours per week
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
