At the State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS) West Region Public Programs is recruiting for three Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team! We have one (1) full time, first shift and two (2) part-time, second shift opportunities located at the Northwest Regional Center (NWC) in Torrington, CT.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

POSITION 1:
 

• PCN: 19884
• LOCATION: Northwest Regional Center (Torrington, CT)
• SHIFT: second shift, part time (63 hours bi-weekly)
• SCHEDULE: Saturday, Sunday, Monday 2:00 PM - 10:30PM and Wednesday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (regular days off Friday, Tuesday and Thursday) 

POSITION 2
 

• PCN: 15963
• LOCATION: Northwest Regional Center (Torrington, CT)
• SHIFT: Second shift, part time (49 hours bi-weekly)
• SCHEDULE:
  • Week 1 (21 hours): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 2:00 PM - 9:30 PM (regular days off are Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday) 
  • Week 2 (28 hours): Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday 2:00 PM - 9:30 PM (regular days off are Friday, Wednesday and Thursday) 

POSITION 3
 

• PCN: 23173
• LOCATION: Northwest Regional Center (Torrington, CT)
• SHIFT: First shift, full time (35 hours per week, 70 bi-weekly)
• SCHEDULE:
  • Week 1 (35 hours): Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM (regular days off are Saturday and Sunday.) 
  • Week 2 (35 hours): Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM (regular days off are Friday and Tuesday) 
• NOTE: Schedule must be flexible to meet the needs of the agency.

YOUR ROLE 

The Northwest Regional Center is located in the Litchfield Hills area of Connecticut and is a continuous operation intermediate care facility (ICF) where comprehensive and individualized health care and rehabilitation services are provided to individuals with an intellectual and/or developmental disability.
