In-Person Reading Tutor K-8 (The Hamptons, NY)

We are seeking dedicated and engaging in-person academic tutors to support K-8th grade students located in The Hamptons, NY. The ideal candidates will have experience working with children from K-8th grade, are creative problem solvers, and love to empower students to reach their academic potential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored academic support in Reading 

• Develop and adapt lesson plans that align with the student’s curriculum and learning style

• Communicate progress and challenges regularly with the family and Arete

• Must be on-time and reliable

Qualifications:

• Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree (but not required)

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience 

• Reliable transportation; must be available for in-person sessions

Expected pay: $100- $125 per hour
