Social Media & Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time)

Location: Knoxville, TN
Company: TAS Recycling
Hours: 15–25 hours per week (Flexible Schedule)
Compensation: $16–$20 per hour, based on experience

TAS Recycling is a rapidly growing multi-state recycling company with operations in Tennessee, North Carolina, and Florida. We are committed to safety, sustainability, and innovation while providing exceptional service to our customers and communities.

We are seeking a creative, energetic, and motivated Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help tell our story through engaging content and digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow our presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Capture photos and videos at our recycling facilities, equipment operations, and company events.
  • Create engaging content including reels, short-form videos, employee spotlights, recruiting posts, and educational recycling content.
  • Design graphics using Canva or similar platforms.
  • Schedule and publish social media content.
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages.
  • Track performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with employer branding and recruitment campaigns.
  • Help maintain a consistent company brand and voice.

Qualifications

  • Current college student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and current social media trends.
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar tools.
  • Comfortable taking photos and videos with a smartphone or camera.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Reliable transportation required.

Preferred Skills

  • Photography and videography experience.
  • Experience creating Reels, TikToks, and short-form video content.
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics.
  • Interest in sustainability, manufacturing, or recycling industries.
