Paid Internship:  Graphic Designer Wanted - Strictly Business Magazine

Are you a Graphic Design Student looking for a part-time, flexible internship? Are you looking to learn and grow new skills? Do you want to work in a fun, flexible environment? Strictly Business is just what you're looking for! 

​Strictly Business Magazine is seeking a team member to fill the role as our Graphic Design Intern. The intern will help with designing ads, doing layout, and helping our Art Director with whatever they may need.​ More details can be found below.

Who We Are

Located in Lincoln, NE, Strictly Business is a business publication with 32 years of experience in print, online, and on social media. Each month, we publish two complete magazines, one for Lincoln and one for Omaha with a unified goal of creating original content and advertisements to increase our clients' credibility, sales, and profits.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking an energetic, creative, detail-oriented, and hardworking individual who loves learning and isn’t afraid to help where needed in this graphic design intern position. 

Experience in the following areas preferred:

· InDesign

· Photoshop

· Organization

· Social Media Marketing

· AI Experience, i.e. ChatGTP. Gemini, GROK, etc

· Client Relations

· Time Management

WordPress experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities Include:

· Corresponding with clients in regard to advertisement deadlines and advertising strategies.

· Doing magazine layout.

· Designing ads - Helping to prepare artwork by gathering and studying information and materials from our AMAZING clients.

· Helping our Art Director with whatever they may need relating to the magazine.

· Other duties include but are not limited to website updates, editorial, and design proofing, etc.

Schedule:

  • Flexible shifts available Monday - Friday
  • 10-15 hours per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lincoln, NE 68505: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Preferred)
