Our coaching positions are perfect for individuals seeking consistent part-time work or those interested in a career in early childhood education. These roles are open to enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children aged 2-6 in our preschool program and/or K-5th graders in our after-school program.
Limelight Teacher: Limelight Kids offers a unique theatre program for children aged 2-6 and K-5th, utilizing a curriculum that combines theatre and child development principles. Our program is filled with creative play and drama-based games designed to build confidence, enhance communication skills, and develop emotional intelligence, fostering Brave, Creative Leaders. The ideal candidate is energetic, compassionate, and experienced in working with children. We are looking for coaches to fill the following roles:
Weekday Class Coach interested in either position, flexible hours in mornings and afternoons
Our preschool classes are half an hour long and feature structured theatre activities, games, and props, incorporating classic nursery rhymes, songs, and theatre games.
Our after-school classes are one hour long and follow our creative curriculum. All lesson plans are provided. Preschool and Afterschool both put on a performance where parents are invited. Scripts and blocking are provided for teachers to follow.
Experience with children is essential.
Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to different locations throughout the greater Charlotte area. As well as Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Huntersville, Wedddington and Indian Trail.
Job Type: Part-time, start time in early August for the 2026-2027 school year
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel
