About Conscious Learning
Conscious Learning is a high-impact academic and executive function coaching organization that helps middle school, high school, and college students develop the skills they need to thrive academically and personally. We work with student-athletes, twice-exceptional learners, ADHD/EF students, and high-achieving students who need systems, accountability, and mindset support. Our coaching philosophy blends academic strategy, emotional regulation, time management, and personal growth.
Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and self-driven Academic Success Coach to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is someone who understands how students think, learns their personal challenges, and helps them build executive functioning, organization, study strategies, and confidence. This is not tutoring—it’s coaching. You will guide students to plan, initiate tasks, follow through, communicate with teachers, and reflect on their growth.
Responsibilities
Coaching & Student Support
Provide 1:1 weekly academic success coaching sessions.
Help students with planning, time management, study strategies, and task initiation.
Teach and reinforce executive function tools: calendar systems, daily planning, task breakdown, the 5-Minute Rule, Tiered Method, etc.
Support students in navigating school portals (Canvas, PowerSchool, Schoology, etc.), tracking assignments, and communicating with teachers.
Communication & Documentation
Send parents/guardians weekly updates or session summaries summarizing progress, challenges, and next steps.
Communicate with teachers, counselors, therapists, or other support staff when needed (with family permission).
Track sessions, goals, cancellations, and student progress.
Professionalism & Growth
Attend team meetings or trainings as needed.
Uphold confidentiality and ethical support practices.
Provide feedback to improve Conscious Learning tools, curriculum, and systems.
Qualifications
Required:
Experience working with students (teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, counseling, or similar).
Strong understanding of executive functioning skills and/or willingness to be trained.
Excellent communication, empathy, and ability to motivate students.
Consistent reliability with scheduling and follow-through.
Ability to maintain documentation and communicate with parents professionally.
Preferred but Not Required:
Master's degree or background in education, psychology, social work, counseling, special education, or related field.
Familiarity with ADHD, learning differences, anxiety, perfectionism, or student-athlete demands.
What Makes This Role Different
Not tutoring. We don’t complete homework with students—we teach them how to manage it on their own.
High-autonomy, meaningful work. Coaches have flexibility and make real impact on students’ confidence and lives.
Training + Tools Provided. We teach our proprietary frameworks like the Tiered Method, Harvard Time-Blocking, Daily Highlight, and Boost & Build.
Mission-driven team. We believe in changing how students experience learning, stress, and success.
