Estimator/Project Manager
CIP Concrete is seeking a highly motivated Estimator / Project Manager to oversee the estimating, planning, execution, and successful delivery of cast-in-place concrete construction projects. This position is responsible for preparing competitive bids, managing project budgets and schedules, coordinating with clients, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Bilingual
- 3+ years of estimating and/or project management experience in concrete, civil, or heavy construction.
- Strong understanding of cast-in-place concrete construction methods.
- Experience reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
- Proficiency with Excel, Bluebeam, HCSS, Procore, or similar construction software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and competitive bid proposals from project plans and specifications.
- Solicit and evaluate supplier pricing.
- Manage projects from award through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field crews to ensure successful project execution.
- Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and billing.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project profitability and assist with forecasting.
- Review invoices and purchase orders.
- Maintain strong client relationships and resolve project-related issues.
