Full Time Accountant/Tax Preparer at Johnson, Agen, Kupferschmidt & Associates

 

Rice Lake Office

  • 4 year Accounting Degree or 2 year accounting degree with work experience
  • Proficient in Quickbooks Desktop and Online

 

Working Hours:  Off Season: 40 hours per week Flex Schedule

                              Tax Season: Alternating weeks of 49 and 54 hours + 60 optional overtime hours 

   Mondays-Fridays at least 8:00-6:00                                                     Saturdays – 8:00 – 1:00 or according to employee workload                                                                    2 Saturdays per month during season

The Accountant is responsible for the preparation of the necessary financial statements, sales tax and payroll reports for a number of clients depending on the complexity and needs of the individual client. This includes but is not exclusive to Monthly Financial Statements, Budgets, Projections, Personal Financial Statements, Not for Profit Compilation Reviews and Student Financial Aid Applications.

The Accountant is also responsible for the tax preparation for a number of individuals, partnerships, or corporations from a range of 200 to 500 returns depending on the complexity of the income tax returns.

The Accountant must have strong organizational communication (both oral and written) and human relations skills.  The Accountant will be responsible for meeting one on one with monthly and tax clients.

 

Salary Range is $55,000 - $60,000 based on experience
