Student Trainee (Administrative Support/Office Automation)
Current post-secondary students and recent graduates open to the Public. A current post-secondary student is defined as a person who is currently enrolled in a full-time baccalaureate or graduate degree program and in good academic standing; making satisfactory progress toward receipt of a baccalaureate or graduate degree; and has completed at least one year of the academic program.
- As a Student Trainee, you will actively participate in on-the-job training, progressively challenging assignments, and career enhancing opportunities that relate to the needs of the agency.
- Uses word processing software to produce and reproduce a variety of documents and correspondence (i.e. narrative and tabular reports, studies, letters, etc.).
- Edits typed material; makes insertions or deletions; and checks spelling, grammar, punctuation, and format.
- Answers telephone calls, provides routine information, and refers callers to appropriate staff.
