Academic Success Center Peer Ambassador

The Academic Success Center is seeking Peer Ambassadors who will assist the ASC Staff with expanding campus awareness of the ASC and its many services. This position is a great opportunity for students interested in applying marketing, social media, or related interests.

Pay Rate: $16/hour

Duties:

• Facilitate Classroom Visits from various campus locations, delivering pertinent information about the ASC directly to course participants.
• Attend campus-wide and reserved tabling events, sharing current events and services with attendees from various populations.
• Create engaging and informative social media content primarily for the ASC's Instagram audience.

Additional Information:

• Weekly shift lengths will vary depending on current needs, likely 3-5 hours a week.

Qualifications:

• Willingness and excitement to be filmed for social media content such as video posts, tutorials, or livestreams.
• Effective verbal communication skills to positively represent the ASC.
• Must be a currently enrolled OU student in a degree-seeking program with one or more listed courses completed at OU.
• Second-semester freshman standing or higher
• Adequate demonstration of time/task management skills
