Security Clearance: Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance is required

Job Description: The successful candidate will support the analysis, interpretation, and modeling of data to help inform business decisions and solve operational challenges. Working under the guidance of senior data scientists, software developers/engineers, and technical staff, this role assists with data collection, cleaning, annotation, analysis, visualization, and the development of predictive and statistical models. The position provides an opportunity to gain practical experience with real-world datasets, radar and optical sensor data, and analytical techniques. 

Primary Duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Collect, clean, and validate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
  • Utilize data science skills along with modern AI technologies to solve real world problems
  • Work with large-scale data environments to perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings
  • Assist in the creation, testing, and deployment of statistical and machine learning models
  • Support data-driven decision making through quantitative analysis and recommendations
  • Document methodologies, processes, and analytical results
  • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts on data-related projects
  • Maintain data quality and ensure compliance with organizational data standards

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative disciplines
  • Demonstrated knowledge of statistics, probability, and data analysis techniques
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
  • Experience developing in Linux environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Skills: 

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Experience working with teams that follow Scrum/Agile development practices
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with cloud platforms and data pipelines
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Understanding of data engineering concepts and ETL processes
  • Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

GPA Requirement: >3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) 

Salary: Negotiable; commensurate with qualifications and experience.
