Openings for 4th grade and 6th grade teaching positions

Qualifications: All applicants must have the following qualifications:

Converted Christian believers in Jesus Christ who live a life devoted to following God’s Word  

Must accept without reservation the statement of faith of South Side Christian Academy

Be a member/regular attendee of a Christian church

Have a heart for ministry and a godly love of children

Preferred--Certification to teach elementary/middle school grades by the state of Illinois

Be able to perform each essential task of managing, establishing, organizing, and instructing a  classroom that provides a quality learning environment for students

Be willing to listen and respond to counsel

An attitude of dedication, commitment, and flexibility
