Geometry Teacher - High School (26/27 School Year)
At Brooklyn Lab, we believe every scholar has the capacity for mathematical thinking — and the right teacher can prove it. We're a small, mission-driven school community where every student is known by name, and our educators are the reason scholars gain two to three years of academic growth on average.
We're looking for a rigorous, relationship-driven Geometry teacher to join our high school team. You'll deliver Common Core-aligned instruction, use data to continuously refine your practice, differentiate for diverse learners, and guide scholars through advisory — supporting them not just as math students, but as whole people on the path to college and beyond.
You bring
- Bachelor's in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or Secondary Education with a Math focus required; Master's preferred
- NYS teaching certification
- 2+ years teaching, ideally in urban or low-income school settings
- A growth mindset and genuine comfort with feedback and accountability
- Deep commitment to equity and college access for historically underserved students
Dual certification in Special Education and/or TESOL is a plus. If you're a math educator who can make the logic of geometry feel relevant, exciting, and within reach for every student, we'd love to hear from you. Apply directly through Brooklyn Lab's careers page by clicking here.
