The Role

Personalized Prep is hiring reliable, high-performing tutors for SAT, ACT, AP, and general academic subjects. We handle the client acquisition, scheduling, billing, and curriculum. Your focus is entirely on showing up, connecting with the students, and delivering excellent educational outcomes.

Expected Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one tutoring for SAT, ACT, AP, or general academic subjects.

Explain complex math, reading, and grammar concepts in simple, accessible language.

Build honest, supportive, and trusting relationships with stressed students and their parents.

Communicate reliably with our team regarding student progress.

Minimum Requirements & Skills

Top-tier test scores: You must have scored a 1400+ on the SAT or a 30+ on the ACT.

Extreme accountability: If you say you are going to be somewhere, you are there. Punctuality and reliability are non-negotiable.

Integrity: We value honest, long-term relationships over short-term revenue. You must genuinely care about being of service to the students you work with.

High emotional intelligence: You need the patience and empathy to guide teenagers through challenging academic hurdles.

Compensation

$30/hr for standard academic tutoring and initial training.

$40/hr for high-stakes test prep (SAT/ACT/AP) once your reliability and student outcomes are proven.
