Clinical Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY
Puente is seeking a clinical supervisor to oversee its mental health clinical team, assign case 
load, provide ongoing consultation and ensure all licensing requirements are in place to operate 
Puente’s Mental Health and Wellness Program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Directly supervises employees including licensed clinicians, associates, and interns in the 
Community Mental Health and Wellness (CMHW) Program at Puente in accordance with 
the state, local and organizational policies, procedures, and laws
• Assigns caseloads and related duties and coordinates activities of staff in providing 
counseling services to assist clients on the South Coast
• Provides ongoing direction to staff in areas such as new policies, procedures, regulations, 
and therapeutic modalities
• Is available for consultations as needed
• Acts as a liaison with the Special Education Director at LHPUSD
• May carry a small caseload to counsel clients individually or in groups on planned, 
experimental and/or emergency basis
• Works with the Program Director and team members to develop, coordinate, implement, 
and evaluate prevention and educational activities throughout the agency as directed
• Adheres to accreditation and compliance standards/guidelines
• Maintains a professional, organized, and clean working environment by following 
organizational policies, guidelines, and safety standards
• Assists in the development and maintenance of departmental policies, procedures, and 
quality improvement activities within the clinic and agency as directed
• Attends staff meetings, retreats, and other meetings as needed and participate in 
organizational events, including training, fundraising and program meetings
• Provides organizational support as needed, including required participation in a minimum 
of two organization-wide events annually, in addition to core job duties. Drives
participants as needed for programming or organizational needs using Puente vehicles.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have relevant licensed clinical degree (LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD, LPCC, EDd)
• Proven experience as clinical director, supervisor or other managerial position
• Excellent knowledge of standards and regulations for the clinical field
• Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts
• Experience working in a hybrid environment, preferred
• Knowledge of the South Coast or experience working in a rural community, preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a culturally diverse team
• Availability to work some nights a week and occasionally on weekends
• Competent written communication skills in English and Spanish, preferred
• Competent skills with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and 
TEAMS
• Current California Driver’s License and ability to drive to work related functions in and 
around Pescadero, La Honda, Loma Mar, San Gregorio, Half Moon Bay and the Bay 
Area.
• Cultural competency to work with community members from diverse backgrounds, class 
and race
COMPENSATION: Pay range: $45.00-$50.00 per hour, depending on experience and 
qualifications.

TELECOMMUTING
Telecommuting is defined as regularly working a full or partial workday remotely. Puente will 
regularly reassess remote work eligibility on a case-by-case basis based on organizational needs, 
employee performance, and employee's role. Full-time employees may work remotely up to 
three (3) days per week, depending on program's needs. Part-time positions will be prorated to 
determine the total number of hours eligible for remote work. Not all positions are eligible for 
telecommuting.
