Pickford Student Ambassador
Pickford is a living narrative platform where users and their characters inhabit story worlds that are alive and permanently change based on the decisions made within them — think interactive fiction meets AI, where audience choices transform the story world. The Pickford Student Ambassador (PSA) Program is seeking motivated, socially connected college students to represent Pickford on their campuses. As an ambassador, you will attend a paid instructional training session and then take the lead in planning, promoting, and hosting a Pickford screening event at your university. This includes distributing promotional materials, leveraging campus communities and personal networks to drive attendance, securing a venue, coordinating food and beverages, and creating a fun, engaging experience for your guests. Ambassadors have meaningful agency over the details of their event — including timing, location, and how they choose to invite and engage their audience — making this a great opportunity to develop real event coordination and marketing experience.
Ambassadors are compensated $150 for attending training and hosting their screening, with a performance bonus of $7.50 per guest (up to 50 guests), for a maximum total payout of $525. Screening expenses such as food, drinks, and materials are also reimbursable within a reasonable budget. High-performing ambassadors may have the opportunity to continue with the program in future phases, with the potential for additional screenings, expanded responsibilities, and pay increases. A cover letter is not required but is welcome. If you're outgoing, organized, and eager to build something on your campus, we'd love to hear from you.
