Student University Photographer

Job Duties

 The student university photographer assists with coverage of various photographic services provided to the university community, including collecting photos at events; assisting with scheduling of photo assignments; creating high-level photos using professional equipment for use in student-recruitment publications; news; general university, college and departmental publications; intercollegiate athletics publications and various online and digital publications; covering after-hours and weekend assignments; providing high-level action photography for NCAA Division I sports and the rodeo team; The student worker will be responsible for filing photos in our digital archives and university online photo albums; scanning photographic negatives; meeting multiple deadlines; attending evening and/or weekend activities; and assisting the university photographer and videographer with photo/video shoots.

 Qualifications

 Students should have experience using digital photo equipment. Candidates selected for interview should be prepared to share a portfolio of their photo work as part of their evaluation.
