EXPERT MEDICAID CONSULTANTS (EMC)

Position: Field Operations Intern – Nassau County

Location: Nassau County, NY

Compensation: $18–$20 per hour

Schedule: Flexible, Part-Time

About EMC:
Expert Medicaid Consultants (EMC) assists individuals and families with Medicaid applications, recertifications, pooled trusts, and eligibility services throughout New York.

Responsibilities:

Visit local Medicaid and Department of Social Services offices

Drop off and pick up Medicaid-related documentation

Obtain stamped receipts and proof of submission

Deliver documents to healthcare providers, agencies, and legal offices when needed

Upload receipts and visit notes to company systems

Communicate with EMC staff regarding case updates

Assist with administrative and operational projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Reliable transportation preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills

Detail-oriented and dependable

Comfortable traveling throughout Nassau County

Interest in healthcare administration, social work, public policy, human services, or business administration preferred
