Certified Hand Therapist
Qualifications
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential is required.
- Active licensure to practice in Washington state.
- 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong background in manual therapy, splinting, and ergonomics.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Experience with workers’ compensation cases is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and create individualized hand therapy treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, strength, and function for patients with upper extremity injuries.
- Administer targeted therapies and techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, splinting, and ergonomic adjustments, to aid in patients’ recovery.
- Monitor and document patients’ progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure positive outcomes.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and exercises to support their rehabilitation journey.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and the broader clinical team to optimize patient care and recovery.
- Stay current with the latest hand therapy techniques and practices, maintaining your certification and continuing education in the field.
