Physical Therapy Assistant

Kids Are People too, Pediatric Therapy is currently seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant who would like to join our team. We believe in a holistic, out of the box team approach to supporting families and helping children develop skills and overcome challenges. We are excited to bring out the “play” in therapy. We have been working with children and their families for the past 25 years.
Our current team includes: Pediatric PT/OT/ST Therapist, Lactation Consultant, and Office Manager. We work together and share ideas as a team. This approach includes our staff, families, healthcare specialists, physicians and caregivers. There are several aspects of our practice that make us truly unique.
Responsibilities would include: Evaluating and treating children as appropriate, communicating with families, physicians, caregivers and staff, working together to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree, preferred
- Alaska PTA License, required
- Current CPR
- Malpractice Insurance
- Desire to work with children and their families
- Work well with others
- Desire to learn new treatment strategies
- Be able to take initiative and help maintain the clinic

Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
