Infusion Staff Pharmacist – New Graduates Welcome
Location: Texarkana, TX
Looking for a motivated and dependable Pharmacist to join our growing infusion pharmacy team. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or pharmacists starting their careers who are passionate about patient care and eager to learn in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and dispense infusion medications accurately
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Support patient medication therapy and clinical care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and caregivers about medications and administration techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist with inventory management and medication ordering
- Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives
- Take part in a rotating on-call schedule
Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacist license required
- Arkansas Pharmacist license preferred or willingness to obtain
- New graduates and entry-level pharmacists are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Long-term care, specialty pharmacy, or infusion experience is a plus, but not required
- Candidates with 20–40 hours of CE certification are preferred; however, pharmacists without this certification are welcome to apply, as training will be provided by the employer
