If you answered "Yes" to all three questions, you may be a good fit for our part-time in-person tutor program. You will do about 2 weeks of full-time training and Applied Scholastics validation, followed by tutoring students.
Important Note: Training is unpaid. You will become an expert at detecting and addressing student difficulties to ensure long-term progress for your students. You will learn how to equip students with effective study skills. You will also learn a better approach to education so that your students develop a passion for lifelong learning.
If you are a non-volunteer, after completing training you will be paid $20 for every hour you tutor students in the Learning Center. We also welcome unpaid volunteers.
We are open Monday through Friday 1pm-7pm and Saturday 9am-1pm. Within those open times, tutoring schedules are flexible, based on both tutor and student availability.
