About the Opportunity
As a Contract Physician Assistant, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, patient education, and treatment planning. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
This position also requires flexibility to provide coverage at sister practice locations in Sharonville and Beavercreek, Ohio, as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive family practice and primary care services.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Manage patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, asthma, and other long-term conditions.
- Perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with Ohio regulations and DEA guidelines.
- Educate patients regarding disease prevention, treatment options, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Travel to sister practice locations in Sharonville and Beavercreek to provide additional shift coverage when needed.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Active Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) license in the State of Ohio.
- Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
- Previous experience in Family Practice or Primary Care.
- Experience managing patients with chronic medical conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between practice locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Schedule
This contract position offers a consistent weekday schedule:
- Monday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
- Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
No weekends are required unless additional coverage opportunities become available.
Travel Requirements
Candidates must be willing to travel between practice locations, including:
- Sharonville
- Beavercreek
Travel is required to provide shift coverage as needed.
