Assistant Brand Manager

Assistant Brand Manager

Vestacy | Greater New York City Metro Area (Hybrid)

At Vestacy, our mission is simple: transform houses into homes. Through an expanding portfolio of trusted Home Care brands including Air Wick®, Resolve®, Easy-Off®, Woolite®, and more, we create products that help consumers care for the spaces that matter most.

We’re on an exciting growth journey, focused on attracting new consumers and winning in new occasions through consumer‑led innovation, strong execution, and a thoughtful, responsible use of resources. Sustainability is an important part of how we think about growth—but equally important is how we work.

We call our employees “Founders” because everyone plays a role in shaping what we build and how we win. We’re a lean, agile, and entrepreneurial organization where people have real ownership, make decisions quickly, and see the impact of their work. It’s an environment where motivated people can do some of the most meaningful work of their careers.

The Opportunity

As Assistant Brand Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and growing our brands—working at the intersection of strategy and execution. This is a true “owner‑in‑training” role, designed for marketers who are hungry to learn, eager to lead, and excited to see their work come to life in market.

You’ll partner closely with your Brand Manager and cross‑functional teams to turn consumer insights into action, support innovation and activation plans, and deliver standout marketing programs. It’s a hands‑on role where you’ll build core brand management skills while making a real impact on the business.

Marketing at Vestacy is fast‑paced, collaborative, and grounded in insights—and is a strong steppingstone for marketers looking to build foundational brand skills and grow into broader leadership roles.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead our monthly Forecasting Activities, in collaboration with the cross-functional team to ensure that we can predict our business delivery with accuracy
  • Own Budget Management, ensure spend and invoicing is on track vs. our commitments
  • Lead our Monthly Performance tracking to bring insights on how our brands and categories are doing in the market to influence our business decisions, drive ROI and disciplined investment
  • Own key elements of day‑to‑day brand operations—keeping projects moving and plans on track.
  • Partner cross‑functionally (Sales, R&D, Legal, Supply, Insights, Finance) to execute advertising, packaging, and promotional initiatives.
  • Lead specific workstreams or initiatives with increasing independence as your capabilities grow.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience, ideally in brand, marketing, or commercial roles within a consumer product organization.
  • Experience supporting product forecasting, insights development, and business case creation.
  • Strong cross‑functional collaborator with experience partnering with Sales, R&D, Legal, and other teams to bring activations to life.
  • Analytically strong marketer who can translate data into clear insights and actions; experience with Nielsen, Circana, or Numerator a plus.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive mindset—well‑versed in PowerPoint and Excel, able to think critically, take ownership, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset, highly motived by delivering results
  • Hands-on professional that is comfortable navigating through ambiguity and making decisions with limited guidance and oversight (freedom to succeed)
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, Business, or related field preferred); MBA a plus.

Why Vestacy?

  • Hands‑on brand impact: Contribute to real strategy, innovation, and activation decisions that shape our brands.
  • See work come to life: Experience the full journey from idea to in‑market execution—and learn how brands grow.
  • Accelerated development: Gain broad exposure across functions, leaders, and customers while building core brand skills.
  • Founder‑led culture: Work in an environment that values accountability, collaboration, and thoughtful decision‑making.
  • Purpose‑driven brands: Help build trusted household brands that people rely on every day, with sustainability at the core.
