Marketing Intern
Our growing, natural hair care brand is seeking a Marketing Intern to assist us in creating content for our social media marketing. The successful candidate will have completed or be enrolled in marketing or communications and have proficiency in visual layout and graphic design. We’re looking for a driven, ambitious individual who wants to create a career in social media and content marketing. We provide extensive training, guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to experience the beauty industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience.
Job Requirements:
The Marketing Intern is an invaluable part of our Marketing Outreach and Development Team. The Intern utilizes excellent organizational and communication skills to multi-task and take initiative in developing and managing our marketing strategy, to encompass diverse marketing channels, from special events to social media. They are hardworking and task oriented with the ability to take direction and collaborate on projects and goals. For successful candidates, this position is intended as a stepping stone to a permanent role within our Marketing Team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with content creation for all of our company social media accounts.
- Assist the Marketing Team with creating new email marketing content.
- Assist the Marketing Team in the planning, filming and editing of brand videos and in capturing still photography for various marketing campaigns.
- Monitor social channels for various marketing opportunities related to trends, influencers, and potential wholesale clients.
- Perform research into our clients’ industries and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding their reach in the digital space.
- Assist with capturing and analyzing social media metrics.
- Assist with editing and creating content for the originalmoxie.com website.
- Communicating with other staff in a timely and clear manner regarding scheduling issues and availability.
Hours:
Flexible scheduling with a typical range between 5 and 10 hours per week.
Compensation:
$15 per hour
