Instructional Specialist

Job description summary: Assists with and supports the design, development, and enhancement of instructional activities, programs, and curricula. Utilizes effective educational methodologies and technologies to meet organizational and learner needs.

Required qualifications: Bachelor degree in biological/animal science or certified veterinary technician 

Preferred qualifications: Qualified candidates will have excellent organizational skills and a strong desire to foster student learning in an inclusive and welcoming environment. Previous experience working with students is preferred. Laboratory experience including work with bacterial cultures, animal patient samples, preserved animal tissues, fresh cadavers, microscopes and other laboratory equipment is also desirable. Animal handling and technical skills are additionally valued (e.g. blood collection, intravenous catheter placement, and animal restraint).
