AVP Client Services

About the Role

ACTIV8 Family Office is seeking an AVP of Client Services to support our wealth advisors in meeting the day-to-day needs of our family office clients. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role for someone who thrives on solving problems, anticipating needs, and delivering a seamless, white-glove experience for high-net-worth families.

From coordinating financial logistics like obtaining credit cards to managing personal and household matters such as setting up utilities, you will serve as a trusted point of contact who ensures that all client's affairs run smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, discreet, and resourceful, with a service-first mindset and the ability to juggle competing priorities with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with wealth advisors to manage and execute the day-to-day needs of family office clients
  • Handle financial service requests, including obtaining credit cards, opening accounts, and coordinating with banking and lending partners
  • Oversee personal and household logistics such as setting up utilities, vendor coordination, and other lifestyle management tasks
  • Serve as a responsive, reliable point of contact for client requests, ensuring timely and accurate follow-through
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively address issues before they arise
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive client information
  • Coordinate across internal teams and external service providers to deliver a cohesive client experience
  • Track and document client requests and ensure accountability through resolution

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services and/or a family office environment
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and act with urgency
  • High degree of discretion, integrity, and sound judgment when handling confidential matters
  • Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of diverse tasks
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to work in person at our McLean, Virginia office
